Restaurant Viva is one of Copenhagen’s most distinctive private event venues – a beautifully restored ship permanently anchored at Islands Brygge Harbour Park. No longer operating as a walk-in restaurant, Viva is dedicated exclusively to private events, company dinners, and celebrations. The vessel combines elegant maritime charm with modern Nordic design, featuring large round and arched windows that frame stunning views of the harbor and the iconic Black Diamond Royal Library. The bright interior showcases natural wood and soft lighting, creating a warm and contemporary atmosphere. Every detail, from polished glassware to fresh flowers and candlelight, contributes to an intimate and memorable experience. The main dining room accommodates up to 92 seated guests, while the sun deck adds capacity for 50 additional guests during summer months – perfect for receptions, cocktail hours, or sunset dinners surrounded by open skies and the calm rhythm of the canal.
