El Mictlan
Mexican fusion
El Mictlan is a contemporary Mexican fusion restaurant occupying two floors on Rue d'Aboukir in Paris. The ground floor houses the main dining room, which features colourful interior décor referencing Mexican cultural traditions, including an Ofrenda display. A cocktail bar with a curated selection of Mexican tequilas and mezcales is integrated into the venue. An independently controlled upper-floor room is available for private hire.
The menu plays with Mexican ingredients and traditions, offering contemporary and creative fusion cuisine that borrows from French, Asian, and Latin gastronomy - including tacos, chalupas, and dishes prepared with corn tortillas, traditional salsas, and French-sourced produce. Custom group menus are available for corporate seminars, private celebrations, and events with specific dietary requirements. The two spaces can be managed with independent sound levels, allowing simultaneous events at different volumes.
