Kaagman & Kortekaas

Fine dining

Amsterdam

Kaagman & Kortekaas is a fine dining restaurant on Sint Nicolaasstraat in central Amsterdam, run by chef Giel Kaagman and host Bram Kortekaas. The kitchen works with wild game, foraged greens, and seasonal produce - Kaagman gathers ingredients from het Twiske on Amsterdam's outskirts to build his menus. The setting is informal for the level of cooking, with an open kitchen, counter seating overlooking the chefs, and a warm, unpretentious atmosphere. A private dining room at the rear of the restaurant has its own kitchen and bar, with dedicated staff for events.

The private dining room accommodates up to 32 guests and comes with its own brigade of chefs and front-of-house team. Groups choose from four, five, or six-course seasonal menus. A semi-private space next to the wine cellar is also available for smaller groups of 6 to 12. The wine list leans toward natural wines from traditional vineyards, curated by Kortekaas.
