The Purty Kitchen

Irish pub restaurant

Dublin

The Purty Kitchen occupies Dun Laoghaire's oldest surviving premises - an 18th-century coaching inn dating back to 1728 that once received heads of state and sea admirals passing through the port. Today it operates as a lively kitchen, bar, and event venue just around the corner from Salthill and Monkstown train station, close to the seafront. The building carries nearly three centuries of character in its walls, and the first-floor event space, The Loft, gives groups a dedicated private room with its own bar, stage, and AV setup.

The kitchen takes a modern Irish approach with locally sourced meat, fish, and produce, much of it cooked in Bertha, their indoor wood-fired oven. The style is hearty but considered - updated takes on pub dining classics with proper craft behind them. Bespoke catering menus are available for private events in The Loft, and the drinks offering covers craft beers, wines, and a full bar.
