Le Mesturet

Le Mesturet is a traditional Parisian bistrot located in the 2nd arrondissement, between the Opéra and the Louvre, on rue de Richelieu. Established in 2003 on the site of a venue with roots in the neighbourhood dating back to 1883, the restaurant occupies a space with exposed stone walls and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The dining area is divided between a main hall and a private air-conditioned room equipped with a large LCD screen and Wi-Fi. The venue holds the title of Maître-Restaurateur, awarded by the French Ministry of SMEs, Commerce and Crafts in recognition of its commitment to traditional culinary standards.

The menu follows a strictly homemade (“fait maison”) approach, using fresh seasonal produce prepared on-site in accordance with classical French culinary practice. Signature dishes include blanquette de veau, grilled aubergine with tomato and fresh goat’s cheese, and Paris-Brest. The wine list features over 100 references, with a focus on small producers offering strong value alongside a selection of classified growths. Groups of up to 30 guests can be accommodated in either the main dining room or the private salon.
