3 Pavaru is a contemporary restaurant located in Jacob’s Barracks, an 18th-century restored building in Riga’s Old Town. The venue features an open-plan kitchen where diners can observe meal preparation, with modern furnishings and large windows overlooking the historic streets. The restaurant was founded in 2011 by Latvian chefs Mārtiņš Sirmais and Ēriks Dreibants, with executive chef Artūrs Trinkuns overseeing daily operations and sourcing from local farmers.
The dining space includes a main hall with chef’s table seating at the kitchen counter and a second floor with a private dining hall. The restaurant focuses on contemporary Latvian cuisine using seasonal, locally sourced organic ingredients. The venue has been recognized in the Michelin Guide Selected Restaurants since 2024 and offers tasting menu experiences alongside à la carte options.
